Introduction

One of the most contentious and complex issues in health services study is characterising and considering the befitting function of government in consigning healthcare. Great Britain has evolved what is broadly identified as the most sophisticated scheme of social healthcare based on management and delivery by the government through levy financing. The history and experience of the healthcare scheme in post-World War II Great Britain is a robust demonstration of state command and delivery of healthcare services based on the premise of universal coverage and access. Recently, the National Health Service (NHS) in England has embarked on a program of restructure and modernization that is being discerned with concern by researchers worried with inquiries of access, implementation of technology, health conclusions, and cost controls. The paper is based on NHS's health and social care policy that leverage health-related decisions and behaviours, producing it difficult to control for secular trends (uncontrolled social and environmental influences) that sway health care and health promotion practices. Sophisticated study on health and social care policy should take into account the many situational, psychological, and societal factors to completely analyze the often concealed dynamics of health care and health promotion. This research examines major challenges, strategies, and opportunities for making sense of the complexities of health and social care policy processes, recommending the power of methodological diversity and integration for health research (Campbell, 2002, pp: 12).

NHS's health and social care policy is conceived to boost knowledge about the challenges confronted in the delivery of health care and the promotion of health. Such knowledge is desperately needed for enhancing the quality of health care and health promotion efforts. Yet, research on the role of policy in health care and health promotion is perplexing by the myriad individual, organizational, and societal factors that leverage health-related decisions and behaviours, producing it difficult to command for secular trends (uncontrolled social and environmental influences) that sway health care and health promotion practices. Research on health and social care policy processes should take into account many situational, psychological, and societal factors to completely analyze the often concealed dynamics of health care and health promotion. This term paper will analyze distinct research challenges, strategies, and opportunities for making sense of the complex influences of connection on health care and health promotion (Campbell, 2002, pp: 34).
