Introduction

I have always been interested in Multimedia Design. Having rich experience of working as a multimedia designer in a Korean firm, I am very keen on taking up the studies as an Associate of Science in the area of Arts with concentration in Multimedia Design. I have chosen the Empire State College as it is one of the best when it comes to multimedia and design studies. There are several reasons why I want to take up this course. The paper discusses some of them.

Skills needed

I have chosen this particular course as it relevant to my field of interest. I have the background and my concepts are very strong. This is reflected in the courses I had taken at Korean Senior High School and Kaywon School of Arts and Design College. I have transferred the following courses worth thirty six credits. These are Art History I, Art History II, Internet I, Internet II, Intro to Computer Science, Multimedia Planning, Multimedia Authoring I, Multimedia Graphics I, Multimedia Graphics II, Multimedia Graphics III, Multimedia Studio I, Audiovisual Media and Graphic Tools. This degree will just be a continuation of my earlier studies back in Korea. I have always been a performer when it comes to studies. I consider myself a learner for life and believe that knowledge should be sought from birth to death. It is because of this reason that I am thirty but I still want to continue with my education and get myself equipped with the skills essential for becoming a successful multimedia designing.
