Participants

Being a college student, the participants of the study will be mostly the college students because it will be easy to gather data. The sample size to conduct the research will be 50. The researcher aim is to conduct survey from equal number of male and female students because it will help the researcher to get to know the perception from both genders. The participants will be recruited on general basis because the research topic does not specify any limitations on gender, race or age. The survey will be posted online different educational forums and the students will be requested to fill out the required questionnaire.

Research Design

This research is founded on the preliminary data. The research encompasses the surveys. Keeping in view the approach taken in earlier studies the research began with a broad analysis of the existing literature. The findings & conclusions are based on the survey result. The methodology used for the purpose of this research is based on the preliminary data. This research is more or less based on the literature review & the conclusions are drawn on the basis of actual resources listed in the references. The research approach used is quantitative (Brown, 2006). Quantitative research is much more subjective than qualitative research and uses very different methods of collecting information which could be both primary and secondary. As already mentioned this study chooses the preliminary method.

Research Method

Primary research was conducted through survey. A survey is an observational study in which the researcher seeks to collect data using a predesigned questionnaire and the environment does not change or control the process under observation (as it does in an experiment ). The data are obtained from performing a set of standard questions addressed to a representative sample or to the whole of the statistical population under study, often formed by individuals, businesses or institutional entities, in order to meet statements of opinion, features or specific events. The researcher must select the most appropriate questions, according to the nature of the investigation.

When it is possible to list or enumerate each of the elements of the population is said that the survey is a census. That is, a census is a survey that is conducted to the entire population. The disadvantage of this type of survey is that it can be hard, raise a lot of time, and be economically costly. It has; of course, the advantage that if mistakes were made in its implementation, says is no information of any individual in the population.

The census rarely granted, in a clear and accurate, true information that is required. Hence, it is often necessary to perform a sample survey to the study population, to provide additional information in relation to that given by the census. These surveys select a portion of the population estimated to be representative of the total population. You must have a sample design (i.e., a process of selection of the sample), necessarily must have a sampling frame (list of elements belonging to the population from which the sample is obtained) and that context, when it comes to people, usually obtained from the population census. There is not a ...
