Self managed learning, the concept of which was coined way back in the late 1970's is one of the learning approaches that is fast making its presence felt in the business world. There are many approaches to the self managed learning, that are needed to be learned and looked at before one can have an idea about what are the benefits and advantages attached with it. When one talks about the self managed approach of learning, there are three self manager learning approaches. These approaches are:
Meta Learning
It is an approach to learning that at the basic and the fundamental level so that the strategic level changes can be implemented in the organizations. It talks about the acquisition of the new knowledge as well as gaining the skill and competence so that managers cannot change their mindsets and mental frameworks. It also talks about the learning to think and to make sure the resources that are needed to be learned are identified and taken into the consideration.
Strategic Learning
When the business environment is rapid, the mangers have to anticipate, ride certain changes and make the decision that are having an immediate impact on the prospects of the organization, when there is such a situation, what is needed to be done is that they have to think on their toes and synchronize the learning and the managing of the resources.
Collaborative Learning
It talks about the involvement of the people in the learning of other people. What is needed to be done is that all the part of the management is given an allocated time slot so that in such sessions, the people who are the part of the organization can actually tell that how they are going to be productive part of the organization. ...
