The case study is about an old widowed lady miss Muriel who has served at the local primary school as a cleaner and suffering from a heart disease accompanied by different other diseases like ulcer. The health condition of Miss Muriel is continuously deteriorating and, there is no evident sign of recovery from the current health condition. Although Miss Muriel is a widow and seventy five years old, she has a caring family and her daughter visits her twice in a week and helps her out in managing different daily life chores. As her disease is getting worse, and she is facing difficulties in breathing due to her medical conditions she convinced towards the “Dignitas” which is Switzerland based organization that assists patients in committing suicide with their own consent such as “mercy killing”. Furthermore, she wants me to assist her in pursuing this act of suicide with her own consent because she worried about her daughter and wonder if she will be in trouble or punished if she will assist her in doing so.

Intervention for Empowerment and Self Management of the Patients Disease and Condition
The importance and significance of empowerment and self management for the patient is evident and cannot be denied. The person “patient” is the one who is well aware of his or her condition and, it is of keen importance that he should not lose the hope and, keep fighting against the disease (Robert 2009, Pp. 586-591). An empowered and self managed patient is more likely to recover and continue its healthy living by successfully fighting with the disease or an ailment. The patient must realize that there is always a chance and hope that he will recover from the disease and live a healthy life and therefore, he must continue his struggle to achieve it. There are many interventions and initiatives that have been taken by doctors and medical community to raise awareness among the patient to regarding the importance of empowerment and self management. The course of the study will briefly discuss the “E-health” as an intervention to strengthen empowerment and self management among the patients including the patients dealing with heart failure diseases.
e-Health
The most important function served by the “E-Health” is to provide the compulsory education to patients in the corresponding field with easy access (Marlene 2001, Pp. 34-56). It also provides help and support to the family of the patient and medical staff and other key users, planner involved in the treatment foe the patient. Empowerment of patients aimed at developing partnerships between patients and health workers, strengthening self-help patients and support families and communities to improve the quality of life (Chas 2005, Pp. 32-54).
