Gradually, teams have become the basis of the 21st century workplace. The thought process behind the idea of team playing and building is to attain synergy. Companies and leaders in today's business world are evaluated on the basis of managing teams. According the contrary literature, efficient use of teams can provide overall effectiveness of the group and organization.

The metaphor ideally describes in a simple and practical manner that by working together or by working in a team we can achieve far better and much more than we can stand alone to achieve it. Team work has now become an integral part of the corporate world and the implementation of this sentiment prevails in the modern world. The companies are no longer interested in sticking to the hierarchical system, which is now considered to be out fashioned. They managers and administrators have realised that the staff and the output during working hours is more productive when people work in team. Team work improves innovation, boosts the moral, confidence and will to work, increases productivity and increases the problem solving strategies (Watson, 2013).

The Development of team is consisting of various stages. On the other hand, this procedure is not always simple, and teams might experience numerous stages at the same time or may revert to prior stages. The efforts of Team building that are conducted by a third party can help teams in acquiring the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential for efficient teamwork and achieving synergy, and to avoid pitfalls of team situations such as group thinking. Team building efforts generally focus on describing the roles of team members, problem solving, setting team goals, and interpersonal processes.
