Introduction

This paper intends to discuss the organizational beliefs in general. The organizational beliefs remain essentially important for the purpose of making the businesses witness success. For the purpose of discussion; I have selected IKEA. IKEA is one of the most successful business organizations. Therefore, it essentially possesses effective organizational believes. However, there are some aspects in every organization that needs to be changed. Further, my current beliefs related to management in general that need to be changed in accordance with the management of IKEA will be explored. The purpose of this paper is to make the readers aware about the significance of management beliefs.

Company Selection

I have selected IKEA for the purpose of discussion mainly because I find this company extremely effectively managed and properly operated. Further, the information regarding this company is available readily. The reason behind choosing IKEA as a part of my key discussion is that IKEA seems to be a successful retail outlet operating in different parts of the world and making people aware about the managerial practices prevailing at IKEA will provide them an idea about how retail outlets must work in order to achieve success (McCauley et al 2010).

Type of Business

The mission of IKEA is to make the quality of life better for everyone by providing them with the most comfortable and luxurious quality home products. Also, IKEA tends to keep in mind essentially that quality products must be provided at an affordable cost. The mission of IKEA is to decorate the homes at affordable prices and make people feel luxurious about their standard of living (www.ikea.com).
