Buddha Maitreya is the Buddha of the future, furthermore renowned as the Laughing Buddha, is the one to pursue up the chronicled Buddha Sakyamuni. He remains in the Tusita paradise for the instant he is to emerge on soil as the Buddha of the fifth world cycle. At present he is advised as one of the dhyani-Bodhisattvas, the creators of the universe. In the future he will be like Sakyamuni, a mortal manusi Buddha who inhabits on soil for a while in alignment to educate mankind the doctrine. Maitreya, 'the adoring one', is broadly worshipped in the Himalayan regions.
