The month of December always brings a cold, chilly weather for everyone. Some people are overjoyed to see the snow falling on the cheery trees and romance showering from the chill of winter; while others suffer from the torturous pain that dwells deep down their hearts because they have lost their partner of love. Similarly, some new couples meet while the older ones break up too. However, betrayal in love is something which can become unbearable for a person is his entire life. After that, there is only a feeling of pain, endless tears, sadness and grief- something that the heart cannot explain.

In the romance of winter, Ray, seventeen and Rachel, twenty eight got their souls tied with the spirit of love and affection. In was the merry evening, when both of them met as strangers for the first time in a dance party at Royal Rodale. Slowly and calmly, the dance brought the couple together mentally and physically. They got comfortable with each other and were fascinated with the feelings of love which were arousing in each other's hearts and dominating their souls. After this beautiful meeting, Rachel and Ray started meeting and spending time together. Ray showed utmost trust and confidence in the so-called apparent true feelings and dedication depicted by Rachel's love.

Ray was overwhelmed with such joyous feelings that he had badly wanted to enjoy the life further, and so, they planned to see the world together. They had wonderfully romantic time while travelling places like Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Las Vegas, Venus and other parts of the country. Together they carried their romance to watch the natural beauty lying among mountains, valleys and seas. Never had the lives been so beautiful before. Then, Rachel introduced Ray to her family which included her mother, a social worker and successful politician, and father who was a business tycoon in America.

Ray, unaware of the reality, did not know what was to come for him soon. He was so indulged in the beauty of Rachel's love that he got blinded by false love and fake pretensions by his twenty-eight years old lady. Rachel, on the other hand never realized the wrong she had been doing for the last seven months. Hiding the truths of her life under glamorous curtains of love and beauty was what she was skilled at. The innocent Ray never got an idea that Rachel could be playing with his life so seriously; however, on asking Rachel about her past, Ray never got a satisfying answer and never even noticed the reluctance that she had while telling him about her earlier life. He only knew that Rachel had a huge investment business at home and abroad, for which she had to visit outside America and stay there for a month. She had owned a successful business involving securities and other financial matters.
