Part A

The triangular theory of love is a love theory developed by psychologist Robert Sternberg. The theory characterizes love in the context of interpersonal relationships for three different components:

Privacy - What encompasses feelings of closeness, connection and bondedness.

Passion - which includes the units that lead to romance, physical attraction and sexual consummation.

Commitment - comprising, in the short term, the decision to remain with another, and in the long term, shared achievements and plans made with the other.
