The psychology of development is the study of scientific change in the functioning emotional, (functions cognitive, language, emotional and social) of the individual human in his life. Although the focus is often on the study of development of the child (e.g. the acquisition of language), the field is also interested in the psychological evolution of the newborn, the infant, the ' adolescents and to some extent the adult, especially when aging (Kail, 2008).
