Introduction

G4S Gurkha Services is an enhanced guarding company that falls within G4 Secure Solutions UK limited. As an enhanced security provider, G4S Gurkha Services protects critical national infrastructure, such as nuclear facilities, diplomatic residences and austere locations that hold critical national infrastructure. The company primarily employees retired Gurkha soldiers, however due to the Transfer of Undertakings for the Protection of Employment Law (TUPE), the company has started to absorb non-Gurkha security officers. The company employs approximately 650 security officers of which, approximately 15% are non-Gurkha. What is common to all employees is a military or service background. Individuals that have been absorbed into the company by TUPE are trained to a higher standard than their secure solutions UK limited counterparts. Failure to pass the training results in the officers' termination from Gurkha Services. Tort law tends to stand against the actions in regard to the source of damage to the other individual irrespective of the nature. The fact needs to be kept in mind that the person can drag the individual to the court based on the allegations which do not have any evidence associated to it.

In such a case the effected individual or organization tends to hold the right to take actions by dragging either the individual or the concerned organization to the court of the law. In researchers opinion it is essential to state the fact that I own a security company which stretches to inculcate six hundred retired Gurkha soldiers along with the Non- Gurkha Soldiers. The nature of the work refers to the protection of coal fired power stations and nuclear sites.
