This research paper demonstrates the working of the left hemisphere of the brain and the right hemisphere of the brain. It tells about the generation of the speech being done by the left side of the brain and storage of memory in to short-term memory and then being transferred in to the long-term memory. Left Side Vs the Right Side of the Brain

Introduction

A brain of a person is considered to one of the most complicated organs responsible for the encrypted functions in million of ways that until date scientists are not able to comprehend soundly. The largest part of a human brain is cortex or cerebrum, which is connected to the higher function of the brain. The cerebrum is divided into two equal, portions known as the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere, which is similar to each other yet, varies in the functioning and performance. Abundant axons link the right hemisphere and left hemisphere by corpus callosum.

There is a theory associated with the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere of the brain knows as lateralization of brain function. The theory sates that the each hemisphere of the brains controls different thinking and performs a different function. There are people who are more empowered by the use to the left hemisphere of the brain and vice verse, resulting in very different personality, comprehending skills and thinking pattern. For example a person posing the use of the left hemisphere of the brain or called left brained are more logical, objective and analytical. On the other hand, the person empowered by the right hemisphere of the brain or right brained person is more thoughtful, intuitive and subjective (Plotnik & Kouyoumdjian, 2011,).

The example of a person who is right brained is that a person common personality traits would be, that an individual would be a cat lover, fiction story writer, prefer group, like rock music, comfortable with the visual aid for learning, a sports person, posing happy go lucky nature, good at drawings, strong memorization of music, thinks and comprehends better when lying down. They are more dreamers, philosophical, intuitively solves problems, can recall images easily and like to act on stories.

Right Hemisphere of Brain

The right side of the brain makes us live in the present moment. It is connected to the left part of the body and controls it. The right hemisphere of the brain sends all the sensory information and messages. The right side provided us with the sense and the feeling of affiliation with others. It is often known as the relational right brain. The right side of the brain is the source of the influence of the major aspects of a human behavior as concluded by the Pet scans and neuro-imagining. It generates the feeling that are related to the relation and connections of a human like empathy, self-awareness, emotion, trust, sense of identification, recognition of emotional faces, non-conscious communication and sense of attachment.
