The theory of brain dominance is a theory that looks into the concept of dominance of brain according to the longitudinal hemispheres of the brain. The theory defines that there are several activities that a person with certain brain dominance is good at. Moreover, the theory describes that a single person is not only dominated by only a single side of the brain, rather in order for an individual to perform better, he/she needs to be able to use both sides of the brain as both are equally important, and share and communicate with each other to give optimal results to any human being.

The Left Brain vs. The Right Brain: How This Impacts Learning
Introduction
Human brain is a complex organ designed to perform various different task and is responsible for intelligence, senses, movements, and behaviors. The human brain is divided into two hemispheres the left and the right, each hemisphere although anatomically the same is designed to perform different tasks, but are connected to each other by nerves through which both hemispheres look to communicate with each other and share the information that is being processed. The right side of the brain controls the movements and the senses in the left side of the body, whereas, the left side of the brain controls the movements and the senses in the right side of the body.

Theory of Brain Dominance
The theory of Brain Dominance was started by and grew out of the works of Roger. S. Perry, a Nobel Prize winner in 1981, for his work in epilepsy and seizures. According to the brain dominance theory, every individual is dominated by a particular side of brain that makes him left brained or right brained, which simply means that every individual has a natural preference of processing the information from either the left side of the brain or the right side of the brain. People with right side brain dominance tend to be intuitive and spontaneous, whereas, people with left side brain dominance tend to be more logical. By knowing the brain dominance of a person it can be helpful in understanding the person's way of thinking, speaking, and functioning. Moreover, it can also help parents and teachers in understanding how a child functions ...
