Like most disasters, September 11, 2001, attacks sharpened our collective sense of unpredictability. People wanted a normal life, but there was little hope for the near future to restore it, the normalization is based on faith in the future and secure. Nevertheless, scientists continue to make predictions, often with predictable inaccuracy: The irony was dead, they said, along with the tabloid TV.
