In order to complete this assignment, I have chose a job advertisement from the New York Times, in which the employer requires and administrative supervisor. The employer requires the applicants to have specialized and developed administrative as well as managerial skills, as he would be required to manage the subordinates and deal with the other managerial level individuals as well. Several other specifications are also described and highlighted in the advertisement, and the following paragraphs would analyze and highlight the job requirements mentioned in the advertisement, combined with the qualifications required and the amount of research that has been conducted before posting the job offer:

The title of the job offered by employee is Administrative Supervisor, and as the title indicates, the employee would be required to deal with his subordinates as well as individuals of the same and higher level. Thus, the applicants are required to have specialized skills for dealing with the individuals of different scales equally and the following the job elements have specially been highlighted in the job description:

Fairness and equality

The administrative supervisor would be required to provide supervision as well as training to the administrative assistants, who would then play their part in assisting the supervisor and sharing his responsibilities, thus the supervisor needs to have exceptional training skills. In addition, he would be responsible for manage the team effectively and move towards progress, thus he needs to have exceptional development skills, which would assist him in progressing and moving forward effectively.

He would also be responsible for dealing with personnel and responsible individuals from different organization, and thus it is essential for him to have outstanding motivational skills, that would allow him to motivate as well as influence them (Krizan, Merrier and Williams, 2011). The skill would also allow them to deal with the sensitive and personal information effectively, which to come to him as a part of his job while dealing with other high profile individuals. The fairness and quality would allow him to deal with his subordinates effectively and maintain a balance between them. This implies that fairness and equality, combined with good perceptive abilities would allow him to get proper understanding of the matters at hand and thus resolve them in a better and well suited manner.

Specification required for filling the job position

Based on the job elements mentioned above, the major specification of the job offer is the managerial skill, which would not only assist in development of better relations with the subordinates, but would also assist the Administrative Supervisor to come up to the expectations of the employers.
