Information System Management

Introduction

Today the information management is becoming essential for organisations to survive and make effective use of their information systems. The information system are widely recognized as a catalyst that extends the most organizations for reaching their far away business units, work flows, reshape jobs, offer new products and services, and perhaps profoundly innovate the business processes. The major advantage of ISM is the competitiveness it provides in the large organisations as an emerging digital firm in the business environment. There may difficulties in the effective execution or implementation of each stage of development of the ISM that may evolve the management or people, information, and organizational processes (CIMA, 2011, p.1).

Key Roles to be Executed in ISM

The Managers conduct activities for the achievement of organizational working on the information systems. The studies have predicted diverse and conflicting roles of management and leadership for the executions of ISM (Mintzberg, 1994). There has been a curiosity amongst researchers and practitioners while emphasizing on particular roles ...
