Is Single sex school a good idea?

Introduction

In today's fast-paced world, Acquiring and maintaining effective and efficient human resource is a tough job and at the same time acquiring profit and quality oriented results. For this sole reason, the ultimate responsibility roots to the schools and educational systems which aids in molding raw talent in to transformed quality-oriented human resource. Children display passive or active personality traits which are molded by the school and further on by the organization they join so that these individuals shall excel and work. Therefore, the schooling systems around the world are working zealously and endlessly to get the best out of the students that are being admitted in the institutions.

During the development and in the process of extending quality education, some school of thoughts initiated and indulged in the battle of the sexes. It then became a topic worth pondering over in terms of which systems is the effective of source of quality education and establishes understanding to dwell and work upon. There has been a longstanding debate about whether a single-sex or mixed-sex environment is beneficial for individual grooming.

There are two category of study system that exists today. One is the single sex systems with students belonging to the same gender study. On the other hand, there is a co-education system that exist which as a mix of both the genders studying together, performing extra-curricular activities, conducting and executing combined projects and assignments, and working in collaboration (Jackson, p.409).

Although, till date, different school of thoughts debate over it and there is no end to this discussion.
