Religion is a topic that has been considered, by far, to be the most controversial in the 21st century. The significance and influence of science on our generation has emphasized or, in some cases, lessened the impact of religion on our current times. However, what with the ever-increasing rate of literacy and education as compared to a few decades ago, its no wonder people are starting to raise questions about what is and isn't allowed as a code of morality as per religion. In this paper, I will be addressing the dilemma of whether or not it is possible to remain moral while not believing in God. Morality comes into play in every aspect of religion, thus in philosophical discussions where the issues of values and beliefs as per religion and life as a supposed Athiest comes along, the debate is sure to get heated. Faith as well as environmental and cultural surroundings matter a lot in terms of morality, which is a theme later explained in this paper.

Beliefs based around the universe and its workings are usually based round scientific findings rather than a world spiritual view, thus it is not hard to imagine why one would e inclined to base spirituality and its inner workings on religion and the presence of God. Atheism is proven to be at the top of the list in terms of beliefs, followed by Buddhism and Hinduism. This in itself speaks volumes over how human beings and their behaviors are affected around the world. Many religious leaders throughout history have made such claims but have fallen victims of fate as it punishes them for their corruption and ill-minded morals as they claim religiousness.
Humans have always been searching for conclusive proof as to how they can to be. Many use the support of the Big Bang theory, while the religiously inclined among us follow the major religions to hold onto their moral standings. When humans are confused in the face of the unknown, they are likely to come up with convenient theories so that the immediate problem might be solved. A large part of the Atheists believe that the existence of God as a greater power is also a theory that is, in its essence, fictional and made to conveniently fit the morals and behaviors of certain ...
