Introduction
The essence of the project is to establish a start up or international franchise of ABC Med Spa, Laser and Hair Transplant Services Company in a suburb location of Tanzania. The main reason is to cater to the increasing need of customers, especially Tanzanian women for beauty and cosmetic requirements. The location of the Salon will be based in the heart of Dodoma, where there is a huge population of potential customers. The feature that makes ABC Salon different from most of its competitors is the added advantage it provides to its customers by offering unparallel, international, and US based expertise in the field of beautification and cosmetic surgery.

Overview of Target Country - Tanzania
Location
Tanzania is an African country, with an area of 945,087 km², and is located in the southern hemisphere, i.e. in East Africa. Its natural boundaries are formed by the Indian Ocean to the east, Mount Kilimanjaro and Lake Victoria to the north, the River Kagera in the northwest, the Lake Tanganyika to the west, Malawi to the south-west and the river Ruvuma south. The country has land borders with Kenya and Uganda to the north, Rwanda and Burundi to the northwest, the Democratic Republic of Congo to the west, Zambia and Malawi to the south-west and Mozambique to the south (Nakamura & Pelnar 1989).
The country enjoys semi-arid climatic conditions in the north; however the presence of Tsetse flies in certain parts of central and western location of the country has compelled the population reside in clusters in the rest of the country.
As compared to its neighboring countries, Tanzania enjoys close proximity to the Indian Ocean and generally a port will facilitate the establishment of a Med Spa Franchise in the country as cosmetics and other beauty related products can be imported cost effectively into the country.
