For the purpose and objective of this paper, we shall encompass and look into a particular hobby that has been undertaken. A hobby is defined as those acts and actions that are being practiced on a routine basis. Generally hobbies have been intended as something that has been done out of pleasure or simply as recreation that aims towards identifying and work of an individual (Leichsenring, 2003, 1223-1233). There are several accounts of hobbies people have; some are collectors of stamps, while some like to keep souvenirs from all over the globe. Some prefer collecting artifacts made out of the color green or some simply like a scoop of ice-cream in bed for self-satisfaction and a peaceful sleep.

When it comes to adopting certain hobbies, there are several reasons that people have. Some do it due to social pressures; others pursue to within the context of making strict and immediate changes in their life. It isn't a chore that you are supposed to attend to, but its something that comes from within or due to the influence or impact of external factors that you have around that can kill your time and simultaneously make your passage of time worthwhile.

For me, a personal choice of adoption would be Psychological counseling. The reason I personally adore this hobby is that psychology itself has great scope and boundary of learning and comprehension that it can aim to offer all the individuals who are willing to understand their reason of existence and the people around them (Franklin, 1984, 86). Use of psychology doesn't limit you to an particular individual or yourself, but you learn to identify different thought processes, thinking patterns, behavioral conduct, social undertakings and many others innate traits that people display on an subliminal or explicit level.
