The present position in the earthquake-affected localities of Haiti locations numerous young children at risk and without ample care.  A large number of young children may be divided from their parents or expanded families due to death, wound or the sheer disorder conceived by the disaster. These young children are at risk of malnutrition and infection, trafficking, sexy exploitation and grave emotional distress.
