There are many benefits to humanity of technological advances. The role of technology in shaping the society cannot be isolated. It has huge impact on the running of society. Almost every aspect of human life is dependent on technology. It has become an important need for human beings with the passage of time. It is technology that has allowed countries to business with one another without any problems. Technology has largely influenced the human lives. Technology allows people to do tasks in today's globalized world that were nearly impossible for anyone to imagine. It has made the life of people easier than it was ever before. It is nearly impossible for a society to survive without being involved in the usage of some kind of technology (Basalla, 1988).

Technological innovations have always played a key driving role for increasing economic development since beginning of the modern discipline and initial era of inventions. During the 1950s and 1960s, several researches endeavoured to measure the input of technological innovation to economic growth. They concluded that a technological innovation generates superior worker productivity and development.

The scientific and technological development is one of the most influential factors on contemporary society. The development of technology has provided considerable evolution worldwide. The aircraft construction, electronics, advance the action areas of engineering, the invention of the computer, mobile phone, and the miniaturization of things have caused society to be alive. The enormous possibilities offered went quickly becoming reality, this resulted in the substitution of labour by automated systems and rapid and radical changes in working methods and practices, thus in the way of life of the people (Wirtz, 2010).

In the current era of technology, the implementation of technology development may greatly help organizations and businesses in improving their work operations. On the other hand, technological implementation may also create problems for unskilled and untrained employees. It is a fact that, technology allows the organizations and businesses to improve their work procedures by using various systems, crafts, techniques, machines or tools.

A variety of technologies have facilitated the discovery, scientific socialization and their application in different areas. These can be summarized schematically in informatics, computer, print media, media, management and administration. The use of the Internet provides communication and transmission of news and events in real time from anywhere in the world and it is one of the greatest inventions of mankind. Since the emergence of Internet, discoveries, research and the dissemination and exchange of knowledge have shrunk the world. Today, we can easily with a single click can read scientific articles published in the most distant countries.
