Industrial revolution means the transformations and scientific developments and technical advancements that occurred since the mid of the eighteenth century. This industrial revolution touched the transportation industry, and had radically altered it (Jacob, pp. 14). In this industrial revolution there are few people who have played significant role. Henry Ford

Henry Ford is regarded as the one of the finest entrepreneurs of America. His methodologies, processes and systems that he devised can still be found in today's business practice. The aim and objective of this paper is to talk about this entrepreneur and his developments that he made. The following part of the paper would shed lights on how Henry Ford played his part in industrial revolution through his innovations such as Model T, Model A and assembly line. This essay talks about his innovations in detail. The opening line production associated with the name of the American industrialist Henry Ford (1863-1947), who first organized the assembly-line production of low-cost "people's car". He joined the band moving jobs - "conveyor belt". Model T cars manufactured by Ford Motor from 1908 to 1927. Model T is regarded as the first affordable automobile, which "put America on wheels."

Horseless Carriage and the development of Model T

The invention of Model T was the result of Ford's fascination about the horseless carriage and engines based on gasoline-power. This fascination drove him to conduct various experiments. In 1896, Ford invented a quadricycle which used to have bicycle wheels. These experiments finally resulted in the form of Model T production (Joe and John, pp. A-1).
