Tesco PLC is a British multinational general and grocery merchandise retailer and its head quarter is located in Cheshunt, United Kingdom. It is the second largest retailer measured by profits and the third largest retailer measured by revenues in the world. Across Europe, North America and Asia is has numerous stores in 14 countries. Tesco PLC is the leading grocery market in the United Kingdom, Thailand, the Republic of Ireland and Malaysia, and has a share of around 30% in the market.

There are more than 3000 stores and over 300,000 employees of Tesco PLC in the United Kingdom. From the UK business the profit and group sales of the company is 60%. However, there is a dilemma in the stores of Tesco PLC in UK as the communication system between the stores is not streamlined and creates various problems. These problems include the lack of communication in between different stores in the United Kingdom, which can make a huge loss to the company. Secondly, the details of sales and purchase between these stores cannot reach to the headquarters in time due to the issues in contacting each other digitally.
