Introduction

Incident Command System (ICS) is a tool for coordination, command, and control of emergencies and provides a platform for agencies to work towards the goal of protecting life, the environment, and property. ICS has proven its worth by increasing efficiency and effectiveness by linking several emergency agencies in order to provide emergency response (www.fema.gov).
