Introduction

Women are the essence of all societies, all countries, and all nations around the world that we see today. Absolutely no life on Earth has existed without the intervention of women or has been able to survive without its presence in the world or in any society. Nawal El Saadawi is amongst those women who come from a strict, Muslim, orthodox background, who narrates the challenges and the problems that are being experienced in this partiarchial society.

Discussion and Analysis

Understanding the basic concept behind the ideology and the reputation that the Muslim women have in the world today needs to be understood and comprehended as their standing and position in the society needs to be assessed and examined at length. Muslim women have an equal representation when it comes to creating and understanding the kind of developments and that have occurred in the world (Gerhard, pp.151).

The author Nawal El Saadawi belongs to a strict, Muslim orthodox family of Egypt, where the religion has made way for bringing down the status of women and how they lived in the past and that how they move ahead in the future. Egypt has been a particular nation of interest, where Muslim concentration is much and that the state religion is Islam, which is being followed and practiced in the world today.

Muslims and the teachings of Islam have been morphed over the years. Looking back at the religious beliefs that have been established and the kind of teachings that Islam give, women are a man's equal and deserve the treatment when it comes to creating and establishing a reputation in the society.
