Introduction

In order to provide better services to patients colleges pay tremendous emphasis on the training and development of physicians' assistants. In order to escalate the level of professionalism and expertise of these physicians' assistants, Mercy College Physician Assistant Graduate Program has devised a mission. The mission of the colleges declares that “its mission is to educate physician assistants to provide quality, cost effective, accessible health care especially to underserved patients in New York City and Hudson Valley, with the personal life experiences, interests, talents, academic background and training of the physicians' assistants”.
