Importance of condoms in school

Good morning everyone today at this valued occasion in front of my colleagues and respected teacher I would like to give a speech on a very serious topic. Sexual needs, being a part of our life, have captivated attention of many people in order to address the implication of information about sex on individual's life. Therefore, main question that arise here is whether schools should highlight the importance of condom use or not?

Condom availability programs are being promoted in schools with respect to its prospective impact to increasing condom use among students. This would enable us in reducing the risk of infections associated with sexually transmitting diseases (Hearst, 1999). Starting with the most prominent issue of this era is the notion of being teen pregnant and transmitting disease (Nelson, 2002). This is the reason that schools are giving their best in order to cope up with this issue and they have started distributed condoms in the school along with the sex education (UNAIDS, 2003). Thus it is very vital to guide the students in the schools by giving them the education on sex, and distributing condoms which would include the on the high priority about the usages and importance of condoms (Nelson, 2002). Thus, in several schools condoms are distributed along with the appropriate education and guidance to the students about having the precaution before having sex, so that both the genders could be prevented from the sexually transmitted diseases and along with this the females could prevent themselves from getting pregnant (UNAIDS, 2003).

Some of the notable groups that have been working in this domain include the American School Health Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the National Medical Association. These institutions have adopted policies that highlight ...
