TESCO is the largest British retailer and also the third largest grocery retailer in the world with outlets across Asia, Europe and USA. The business of TESCO started in 1919 with a man named Jack Cohen started selling groceries from a stall in London's East End.

TESCO PLC is a British based general merchandising retail chain and an international grocery store. With profits of £3.03 billion and a turnover of UK£59.4 billion in 2009, it is the world's third largest grocery retailer and the largest retailer in British. TESCO works in 14 countries worldwide, with 65% of its revenue coming from UK and the rest coming from Europe, Asia and United States.

As TESCO continues to grow its core UK business and its retailing and non-food services, the organization is investing deeply in international growth and expansion as the key to attaining its objective of double digit growth. To facilitate the workers of the company to learn the skills and aptitudes in order to perform more quickly and effectively, TESCO has adopted new trends, processes and IT systems for the training and development of its employees. The training is conveyed in a manner that incorporates all learning aptitudes and agrees for cultural distinction.
