Introduction

The tourism and hospitality sector go hand in hand and both of them have evolved with time. Changes are occurring in both the industries and as the functioning of one is directly associated with the functioning of the other; major impacts and integration are seen and depicted. The following paper discusses the role of hospitality in the tourism sector and the types of integration in the hospitality industry. In the end, the paper identifies a few steps for starting a hotel and is successful where several factors such as cost, planning, customer needs and funds may be evaluated in order for the hotel business to successfully operate in the hospitality industry.
