Introduction

It is a fact that the issues related to marriages are very intricate. In this paper, I will put light on the homosexual marriages. There is lot of ambiguity and polarization on the matter of gay, lesbian and same sex marriage. There is lot of debate on same sex marriage such as legal issues, human biology, civil rights, homosexual and heterosexual issues. While discussing this topic, people also focus on the issues like religion, children and love. When this issue comes under discussion audience start gazing at entire scope of the issue and take same sex marriage into totally different perspective. In order to take brief insight of same sex marriages, we have to study the facts and figures of those states which have passed laws in favor of same sex marriages.

Thesis Statement

In this paper, I will support the argument that homosexual marriage should be allowed. I will focus on supporting the argument that people with need of homosexual activity should be allowed to get marry with each other. Because, this is a very personnel matter of individuals and if someone likes to be married with same sex gender then there should not be any barriers.

Arguments

It has to be made clear that if there are two women or men who want to get marry with each other then on one has right to stop them or critics them because it is totally there personnel matter. These two individuals love each other and simply want to spend their life together. They have a right to celebrate their marriage in public with all of benefits that opposite sex couple used to have (Ashford University, 2012).

We are living in 21st century where modern society does embrace different types of family arrangements such as mistresses, polygamy, the usage of concubines and communal child rearing. Then this is the right of two same sex people to live together and enjoy life together. In our society, prostitution has become very common which is totally a business then what would go wrong if two same sex people get marry. Our society also witness heterosexual monogamy where two persons are involved in an act. All these relationships and businesses were considered unnatural in accent times and the people of that time were not ready to accept things like polygamy, concubines, prostitution and mistresses but with the passage of time, community started accepting these types of business and relationships. Today, mankind has reached to its highest level in term of technology and knowledge. It is also a fact that magnitude of need or urges for same sex marriages is highest in these times as compared to ancient times. We have witnessed a protest by same sex marriage supporters on November 15, 2008 where these supporters were asking the government to make law through which they can register their marriages (Isay, 1989).
