Introduction

Heritage assessment is the method to assess the cultural and heath issues in a family or a group of people. It is the way to aware the people about their upcoming health issues. “Prevention is better than cure” a proverb may give the better understanding about the health issues related to the group of people or the people with some specific residential area. The culture, health and language are the three main criteria's of heritage assessment. Interview different families and collect the data about their heritage is necessary to make predictions about their nature of living.

In order to assess the heritage some surveys are usually conducted by the government of the United States and prepare a detail report about the survey for the heath care department. Interview session with different families gives a better understanding about their cultural and heath issues. The comparison of results of the interview may help to analyze the information regarding health protection, health restoration among the cultures and health maintenance in the whole society. The heath care department takes surveys of different people, belongs to different fields and culture which give them a data to analyze the situation and also give some predictions the problems which may cause in future.

Assessment

The heritage assessment gives the information about different cultures of UK, United States and Africa. These all have different culture and the people follow different kind of lifestyles. There are many differences found in the culture of UK and US (Kagan et al, 2008). Other than language differences, there are some more differences like attitudes, reactions, opinion and customs and same case in the matter of Africa (Bate et al, 2003). The consumption of alcohol is not fundamental part of the culture of US, but the situation is different in UK. In UK most of the people drink not for need but as a part of their culture.

In the particular areas of the United States most of the people drink as a hobby and some also because of problems of their life. Some people also take drugs, and tobacco utilities in United States but the situation in UK and Africa is different from other countries (Irvine et al, 2002). It is the sense of feeling life in a light manner and faces the difficulties with courage.
