Introduction

This paper will propose a strategic healthcare plan of a hospital, named Hanford Community Medical Center, in the state of California. Being a manager of the organization, my goal is to create a successful environment for patients, customers and staff, and for this purpose, I have to plan the activities and tasks which can make the goal possible. This strategic plan will help in maintaining the environment of the healthcare, by providing the input to change the organization based on the needs determined, and guide the organization to where it plans to go in the future.

Discussion

The name of the healthcare organization which we are discussion here is the Hanford Community Medical Center which is situated in the city of Hanford in California. The mission and vision statements of the healthcare organization are given below:

Mission Statement

The mission statement of the Hanford community medical centre is “To share God's love by providing physical, mental and spiritual healing”.

Another objective of the healthcare is assessing the areas to consider when managing to control and reduce hazards and risks, such as prevent accidents and injuries, and maintaining safe workplace conditions (Pearson, 1990).

Vision Statement

The vision of the company is to be a model healthcare system by continuously learning and providing extraordinary care in the service excellence, clinical excellence, physician engagement, employee engagement, community stewardship and operational effectiveness.

Background of the Organization

The hospital is situated in Hanford, California. It is a part of the Adventist hospital system. The hospital system provides specialty and general medicine to the society's people with the help of more than twenty clinics located in Fresno, Tulare and Kings Counties.
