Introduction

The tool of strategic plan is important for guiding the work and the staff of any organization. The purpose of staff training via the proper strategic planning is to concentrate on the long term mission, purpose and vision of the organization. Furthermore, it helps to make decisions regarding allocation of financial and human resources. With respect to the accomplishment of the project or achieving the goal based on the future`s shared vision. In health care system, the strategic planning for the staff training is common for the purpose of health promotion. The health organizations arrange the training sessions with the involvement of government and stakeholders in order to enhance the healthy living style, procedures of disease prevention as well as to make the people aware regarding several concerns of health. One of the important factors observed in the current era is the incomplete awareness in women concerning the breastfeeding for their children. Women living in rural areas do not often receive the proper information for their child development and growth. They also do not possess the essential resources for their children. The training for the qualified health care professionals to increase the knowledge regarding breastfeeding in rural mothers is necessary. Therefore, the directorate of Maternal and Child Health proposed the strategic plan for training staff with the help of fund provided by Ministry of Health. The proposed plan contains the financial and program reporting, work plan of annual team, objectives of individuals and annual budget.

Strategic Plan

The proposed strategic plan is designed for one week workshop. The directorate has arranged the workshop for consecutive days of the week. Following the training, the staff will be subjected to make the women, living in the rural areas Saudi Arabia, aware about the adequate nutrition, and basic necessities of life concerning their children in early age. The most important information to deliver is the promotion of health of children via breastfeeding. After analyzing the statistical values about the awareness, the strategic plan is designed.

SWOT Analysis

The evaluation of the training strategy is essential itself to assure the deliverance of several goals, objectives and aspirations discussed in the mission or purpose of the staff training. The SWOT analysis is the tool to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the proposed strategy plan.

Strengths

The proposed training strategy for the staffs with respect to the breastfeeding awareness possesses the several advantages. The training will help the staff to understand the severity of issue in accordance of the region, culture and rate of diseases in that particular area. The members of staff will develop the efficient plan after comprehending the factors to focus. The proposed strategic plan shows that state possesses the art to use the medical equipment and sense of obligation regarding health of all the people living in the rural as well as the urban areas via endeavoring to develop a plan and train the staff for the purpose.
