Introduction

Bob visited genito urinary clinic at Trust hospital for his check up. Dr. Gomez did his check up and informed Bob of the presence of HIV positive in his reports. Bob was suggested by Dr. Gomez that he should inform his sexual-partners about his disease. Bob then started his treatment. Bob was in a relation-ship from past eighteen months with Sue. Bob and Sue are expected to have a baby in coming two months. Bob was in a sexual relationship with a number of people before Sue, Dr. Gomez came to know in the subsequent counseling sessions of that Bob has not yet informed Sue about HIV. Dr. Gomez knew about the upcoming child birth of Bob and Sue and he explained to Bob that they should take certain measures to determine whether Sue is HIV positive or not and if there are any chances of the baby having this disease then immediate steps should be taken for the baby's treatment. Bob refused to do so and even says that if Sue gets informed about all this without his permission then he will not continue this treatment.
