Introduction

Global education is a technique which lies behind the concept that peoples all living in a globalized world. It is difficult for the teachers to give the students a chance to convey their ideas and thoughts and to allow them to play their part in the society. The education is also not able to give the students the opportunity to identify the different connections in the social, economical and political problems of the world and to allow them to think over new strategies to solve these problems. According to the Maastricht Global Education Declaration, the education which allows the people to look clearly and think broadly to the globalised world and aware them to create peace, justice and humanity in the world is called as the global education. According to another statement, the purpose of global education is to provide the development in the education and to provide the education for the human rights, sustainability, peace, war prevention and cultural education (coe.int).

According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, education should be provided for the benefits of humans and to groom their personality. It should encourage the understanding, tolerance and friendly relations between all religions, cultures and races. It should also promote the behavior of United Nations in promoting Peace (coe.int).

Education is a process by which the human beings and the societies can attain complete strength. It includes formal education, public awareness and training. Education is important in enhancing the development and making better the ability of people to solve environmental and developmental problems.

According to the council of Europe white paper, education promotes the intercultural approach which is a way to manage the differences in cultures. The intercultural education do not allows the differences in the ethic, religion, language and culture (coe.int).

Why Global education

The world is globalized today and there is a need for the development of the successful education criteria that is able to fulfill the needs and trends globally. The education is not restricted to the focus on reading, writing, mathematics and science. The modern world requires the capability to think creatively and solving the challenging issues. It is required to have those skills by which the students should be able to connect to the world and to have excellent communication skills. The advancement in the subjects of science, mathematics and other technical fields is also necessary which will make the students capable for world because of the following reasons (cuspomona.edu).

The children who are in learning age will be looking for the jobs globally in the next few years. The jobs around the world will demand highly developed knowledge and skills.
