Gestalt therapy is a phenomenal therapy which was proposed by the two psychologists Frederick (Fritz) and Laura Perls in the 1940s. It provides assistance to patients in terms of awareness regarding various methods to differentiate the act of perceiving, feeling and behaving from inferring and rationalizing the preexisting mind-set and approach (Yontef, 1993).
