Introduction

Sport and Gender have been in connection from many years. Gender and equity, in sports, was a significant event in history because in 1972 gender and inequity in sports had become a wide-ranging federal regulation which excludes bias and discrimination due to the grounds of sex in every education program or doings which are funded federally. Gender is defined as the social role and relationship among men and women (Caplan, 2004). The concerns of gender relate to women and men which includes femininity and masculinity.
