Initially food stamps or EBT cards were used in grocery stores, but now restaurant across the globe are trying to get a piece of the pie. Previously California, Michigan, Arizona and Florida restaurants accepted EBT cards for food but restaurant, but the number of Americans relying on food stamps has jumped 70 percent since 2007. As more people join the program, there's a growing debate over whether or not recipients should be able to use food stamps at fast food restaurants.

During high unemployment rate when people look for assistance by government, leading fast food chains are enthusiastic in order to serve themselves as a happy meal of food stamp revenues. According to the newspaper article US four state Florida, California, Michigan and Arizona have presently allow to pay few diners with food stamps. However, one chain Louisville-based Yum which operated brands, like Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza hut and Long John Silver has entered in to the hall to expand the program of food stamp. The idea of the 'welfare state' is used to represent a model in which the state accepts responsibility for the welfare of its citizens (Clasen, 1999).

We need to plan and prepare a proper plan for retirement and not only depend on the Social Security. The core debate lies between a retirement plans, which provides welfare only when other means fail.
