Abstract

The paper deals with the advantages and disadvantages of developing and implementing a formal human resource strategy which has been presented to support flexible working. Various factors and issues involved in the implementation of the procedure have been explained in the paper and the implementation of flexible human resource strategy supporting flexible working has been explained from the perspective of employers as well as the employees. Thus, the paper highlights various aspects of the implementation of strategy in a privately owned UK based organization and would provide significant assistance to manages planning to implement the same. Introduction

Various methods and different techniques have been adopted to ensure that the strategic policies and strategies are adequate enough to provide convenience and ease to the workers and also ensure their comfort and wellbeing. It is essential to note that with the passage of time, various strategic models and techniques have been developed to ensure that the most valuable and essential assist of the organization, the employees, are well managed and effectively administered, thus allowing them to work in a comfortable and favorable environment, to produce the desired results (Mondy, Noe and Gowan, 2005, Pp: 412). Thus, the experts and the strategic managers are always making attempts to introduce new and fresh policies that are in accordance with the modern requirements and the latest demands of the employees. It should be taken into account that employees, the human resource , is the most essential assist of any organization and is responsible for the success or failure of the organization. It has been observed that the institutions with better human resource have more chances of succeeding and making progress as compared to other organizations, which do not pay much heed to the needs and demands of their employees and continue to deal with them ineffectively (Mathis and Jackson, 2011, Pp: 173). It is due to the same reason that all the major organizations and institutions are now investing a large amount of their income in their human resource department, in order to make sure that they employ the best of individuals and also succeed in making use of their capabilities and qualities in the ideal manner possible.
