Abstract
Film has a uniquely powerful ubiquity within human culture. It has become a vehicle for cultural identity & political awareness. Hence I shall put forward a contemporary research on “The role of film production in changing and developing societies in the Arab world'' that will reveal more profound aspects to film's impact on society from colonial times to the present .The research will focus on the historical overview of the Arab cinema with special focus on Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia and Palestine which seeks to shed new light on newfangled areas in the history of society change (culture, identity and politics).

Introduction
This paper contains the analysis of film production in the Arab World. Film has exclusively powerful ubiquity within human culture. It has become a vehicle for cultural identity & political awareness. This paper contains more profound aspects to film's impact on society from colonial times to the present .The research focuses on the historical overview of the Arab cinema with special focus on Egypt, with Iraq , Lebanon , Syria , Tunisia and Palestine which seeks to shed new light on newfangled areas in the history of society change. These changes incorporate the cultural, identical and political changes in the society (Hammond, 2005, pp. 100-200).
The film industry of the Egypt was ranked as the Hollywood of the Arab World. The industry was focused on the artistic and creative approach. The industry was determined towards the cultural identity, but the hindrances and the restrictions posed by the government limit the act of creativity. Thus, the image of the industry got affected with effective impacts on existing normative background. The impacts are mainly in the light of political Islam power that has declined the film industry of the Arab World (Khashan, 2008, pp. 1687-7721).
