Introduction

An American Feature Film with the title “Evan Almighty” is directed by Tom Shadyac it is an art film that has contained a message when we critically analyze this film. As a critique when one viewed this film it portrays messages of unity and trust. The story revolves around the character of Evan that tackles the situations that prevails in his life (Evan Almighty Review, 2013), He convinced his family members to support him as God has instructed him regarding the flood will occur and they will need a boat as to save the life of the citizens. The author has tried to fix humor in this film but the film doesn't look funny but it is a kind of family drama that is portrayed in the film (Butterworth, 2007). The thesis statement will be “A Great Message for Families” as the unity and trust in the family is depicted in this film.

Storytelling

As a critique the story telling in the film was fictional as the author has utilized the crops while making the film. The story of the film was controversial. It was associated with the incidence of the Holy Messenger Nooh (Evan Almighty Review, 2013); the plot is cleverly associated with the present time. A young man working in congress and he received a message from God and he was convincing his family. The family support and trust is depicted in this film as the wife and children support Evan in the forceful circumstances that occur in his life by the Almighty (Baryson, 2007)

As a critique my comment is if this kind of situation prevails in real life so the person should not be forced by God to make a boat. The filmmaker should have portrayed the idea that the person is very religious and he is willing to obey God's message (Evan Almighty Review, 2013), The overall association of this concept of Story with present time was admirable as the busy schedule and running time is the set example of the present time we all do not have time to listen and to look after the matters. However this film portrays the message that God is everywhere and he is the sole authority behind us so we should remember God and in this buy world we should accept the miracles of God (Baryson, 2007).

The faith of Evan towards God was well portrayed in the story as when he was receiving all these stuff and his family left him due to this act of making boat. The faith and trust in God of believer is a matter of interest as Evan believed that flood will occur (Evan Almighty Review, 2013), this film depicts the message that God is everywhere and he can send his messenger anytime in this world. The disagreement with the filmmaker was that this family was directly communicating with God. The normal human being cannot directly communicate with God we can see things in assumptions and dreams.
