Introduction

At present, ecological perspective system is a broad debate about what kind of care is the best in early childhood and what the impact of education on child development is. The scientific contributions of psychology and neuroscience argue that the construction of emotional, cognitive, and social structure occurs during the early years of the child's life, and early educational service is a prerequisite for the development of children. The family-centered program considers this as a goal and places the preschoolers' care in a prominent place. Various researches proved the importance of family role and it involvement in the mental and physical development of children. The experiences of love and security, or the opposite of fear and loneliness that children are in their early years may be decisive for the future development of their personality. According to the thesis statement, there is a significant impact of Family-Centered approach on young child's cognitive and social development.

Attachment

The main requirement of infancy is the need for safety and security. If it is satisfied, the child opens the world around him and begins to have firm trust. If not, then it limits their interaction with the world and, consequently, affects his knowledge. In the first year of life, a child develops a sense of basic trust or mistrust of the outside world (people, things, events), which he will carry through life (Feldman & Rotenberg, 2004). Feelings of alienation in a child appear with a deficit of attention, love, affection or ill-treatment.

At an early age, a preschooler develops a sense of attachment. The attachment can be defined as a mutual and emotional bond, which allows a child to be sure that he will always find an adequate response from his or her adult. A small child cannot take physical care of himself. He needs someone who is always available and willing to support him. A stable attachment ensures safety which is for successful development of the child. Satisfying the child's attachment contributes to his best mental, physical and social development, which has beneficial effects on self-esteem. It is self-esteem which is base from which the child begins to explore the world. Through attachment, a child learns to cooperate and acquire the ability to not only take but give.

Educators and parents play a significant role in developing a sense of attachment in a child. In schools, teachers develop a strong bond with preschoolers, ensuring safety, care and love for them. Furthermore, teachers also give preschoolers confidence to participate in activities and listen to their stories. These initiatives by the teachers develop attachment in children. In home settings, parents play a crucial role in developing attachment. It is important that a child does not feel left behind.
