In order to live a happy and contended life it is imperative for an individual to be educated. Education plays an important and integral part in the development of an individual. In our society, the role of education does not get enough importance when it comes to the education and development of case of toddlers and pre-school children. However, the truth is that the education plays the part of nub for pre-school children for the effective and efficient development. In recent years the education system for the pre-school children has received immense importance and attention from the side of researchers, teachers and educationists. As a result of this immense attention various developments have been taken place and new concepts and methodologies have also been developed. Family centered education can be considered as the result of this extensive research and development procedure that took place in recent years. The aim and objective of this paper is to talk about family centered education for the proper development of the pre-school children.

Family Centered Education System for Cognitive and Social Development
The concept of family centered approach can be defined around three dimensions. The first dimension is of parent-centered education. In parent-centered education, a parent decides the lessons and the type of education that they want from their child. In this approach, parents are taught lessons. Under this approach of parent-centered education parents remain engage in discussion and talks whereas, the child is allowed to play with toys and other stuffs in the back or the corner of the room. The second dimension involves child-centered approach. According to this approach a child is asked to select a topic or subject usually from the limited given options to teach the lessons through creative activities. In this approach of child-centered education a child may choose a fruit or any object. After the selection of the object through creative activities the child is taught lessons and the parents watch their children learning different concepts. The third and last dimension is of family centered education. Under this approach of family centered education the process of learning takes place in the context of involvement of family. Support and guidance is provided to the parents to fulfill the role of teacher, nutrients and caregivers. To teach different lesson parents are also invited to take part in the creative activities (Trish, 1995). These above discussed dimensions can be explained in a summarized way in the form of following figure:
