Introduction

In an economy, it is significant for business companies, either domestic or international, to manage their resources, operations, and personnel effectively for expanding the revenues and profits and ideally to succeed. In current economy of high uncertainty, especially in the era of high business competitions, it is becoming a serious challenge to do or run a business effectively and successively. For the companies, who perform their business operations in more than one country, this issue or challenge is compounded for different aspects for them such as cultural, economical, and legal reasons. This is particularly factual for the companies of the United States who are doing and looking for business opportunities in the economy of France.

Discussion

To initiate with this exercise, I would mention that France has one of the greatest bureaucratic and liberal labor laws in the business world especially when it comes to the protection and rights of employees. Any business concept such could harm any employee could not be effective and succeeded in the economy of France. Any company that wants to enter in France for performing its business operations then it must have to follow the strict labor laws regarding the policies of government of France. On an average, the employees of France are just restricted at a 35 working hours per week with several benefits of unemployment, health, pension, etc.

For the global companies that are performing their business operations in another economy like France, the extra ordinary cultural, economical, and legal as well as administrative challenges add one more level to the complexity and a supplementary burden of expense.
