The aging of a person often leads to a gradual decrease of his mental faculties and loss of physical autonomy, reducing the ability of it to defend himself or to complain against attackers who are often united to it by ties of blood. Regular physical activity has been proven to be a good therapy for proper aging of older adult. It is a popular belief that has one age; there is a tendency for one to lose the capacity to perform daily activity. A decline in cognitive skill and brain function is associated with this loss of abilities. Studies have shown that physical activity has a positive effect on the treatment of several chronic diseases and other issues of aging that develops in older adult. Since our goal as health care professional is to provide older adult with adequate care and for them to have a quality life, an easy way to achieve this is to encourage older adult to participate in regular physical activity. However, in some cases, elderly individuals or even young individuals are diagnosed with such a disease which causes them severe pain.

People generally think that in the old age the elderly should just rest all the time.
