The healthcare sector of United States of America was evolved from an uncomplicated system of peripatetic doctors and home remedies with lack or little training to a scientific, complex, bureaucratic and technological system, which was normally known as “Medical Industrial Complex”. Germ theory was the foundation of this complex that helped in identification of cause of disease in humans, technological advancements in treatment of diseases, advent of medical insurance, development of medical healing and training institutions and professionalization of doctors (Friedberg; Hussey & Schneider, 2010). The governmental institutions own the rights of controlling and managing medical insurances, drug regulations and healthcare programs for the citizens, therefore these institutions played an active role in the evolution of the healthcare programs and services that we are currently observing in our society. Healthcare industry is one of the most sensitive and essential sector among all the existing sectors within the economic system of any country, therefore proper attention and funding should be granted to it, so that the people living in the society would be able to get quality healthcare services from the healthcare programs that are launched.
