A steamboat, loaded to its capacity of 250 persons, is about to pass under a drawbridge. The attendant for the bridge brought his two year old son to work and he is trapped in the large turbines. If the bridge is raised, the boy will be killed. If the boy is saved, tons of lives will surely be lost.
