Introduction

In the past 40 years, by the emergence of transnational conglomerate in agribusiness field, the seed business has been massively transformed. Contending organization rose in the field. This transformation has eventually impacted the agribusiness such as an introduction of genetically modified seeds (GMOs). Hence, by the change in industry the ownership has also undergone drastic changes. Monsanto has dominated the agribusiness by the development of transgenic yield by the mid of 1990s. Moreover, the organization has been licensing of the rights of transgenic seeds traits.

Monsato's genetically modified seeds (GMOs) were considered safe for human beings and animals. By the issue of an article in 'Entropy' which mentioned the presence of glyphosate as primary ingredient genetically modified seeds are declared harmful to consumers. Glayphostate possibley causes chronic diseases and some other medical conditions turn out to be prevailing in Western culture.

The herbicides when sprayed on genetically modified crops food immerse it. This may cause a number of diseases such as autism, gastrointestinal problems like inflammatory bowel disease, chronic diarrhea, colitis and Crohn's disease, obesity, cardiovascular disease, depression, cancer, cachexia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, ALS and many others (Institute of Responsible Technology).

Monsanto produces and trades genetically modified seeds containing bacilius thuringiensis (bt), a score forming soil bacterium which produces parasporal crystal protein which is toxic for a huge range of insects. This bacterium is functional against Lepidopteran insects such as moths and butterflies and Dipteran insects including mosquitoes and flies (Aronson et al. 1986). Bacilius thuringiensis is toxin to Coleopteran-type Bacillus thuringiensis bacteria, boll weevil (Anthonomus grandis), yellow mealworm (Tenebrio molitor), elm leaf beetle (Pyrrhalta luteola) and Southem com root worm (Diabrotica undecimpunctata howardi).

In underdeveloped countries, the rise of genetically modified seeds (GMOs) is dramatic and tragic as well. A research of Consumer International ...
